On the afternoon of December 5th local time, the Chief Prosecutor of the People's Republic of China and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Ying Yong, met with the Prosecutor General of Brunei Ahmed, the Prosecutor General of Singapore Huang Lusheng, the Prosecutor General of Thailand Ana, the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of Laos Saisana Kupu Tong, and the Prosecutor General of Cambodia Xie Liang, who were attending the 13th China ASEAN Member State Prosecutor General Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam Myanmar Prosecutor General Didau. Ying Yong expressed gratitude to the procuratorates of various countries for their attention, participation, and strong promotion of the development and improvement of the mechanism of the China ASEAN member state procurator general meeting. He reviewed the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese procuratorial organs and procuratorial organs of ASEAN member states, and introduced the basic situation of China's rule of law construction, judicial system, and procuratorial work. He said that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China had mapped out a grand blueprint for comprehensively promoting the construction of a powerful country and national rejuvenation with Chinese path to modernization, and clearly put forward the idea of "comprehensively building a modern socialist country on the rule of law track" and "comprehensively promoting the legalization of all aspects of the country's work". According to the provisions of the Chinese Constitution and laws, the Chinese procuratorial organs are the legal supervision organs of the state, the judicial organs that ensure the unified and correct implementation of national laws, an important force in safeguarding national interests and social public interests, and an important component of the national supervision system. They shoulder significant responsibilities in promoting the construction of the rule of law and maintaining judicial fairness. The procuratorial organs of ASEAN member countries have many beneficial experiences in serving national economic development, promoting the construction of the rule of law, and maintaining social fairness and justice, which are worth learning and learning from. The Chinese procuratorial organs cherish the traditional friendship with the procuratorial organs of ASEAN countries, and will continue to deepen friendly exchanges and practical cooperation in the procuratorial field with procuratorial organs of other countries, jointly increase the crackdown on high-tech crimes and cross-border crimes such as telecommunications and network fraud, share and learn from the experience of rule of law construction, digital prosecution, procuratorial reform, etc., and work together to provide high-quality judicial protection for the high-quality economic and social development of various countries. Prosecutors General of various countries express sincere admiration for China's achievements in the construction of the rule of law and innovative development of prosecutorial work in recent years, highly appreciate China's contribution to deepening the development of the China ASEAN member state conference mechanism, and pay close attention to the series of practical measures taken by China's procuratorial organs to serve economic and social development and deepen prosecutorial reform. Everyone unanimously expressed their hope to further strengthen friendly exchanges with Chinese procuratorial organs, deepen practical cooperation in combating transnational crime, preventing and combating high-tech crimes, conducting high-level visits, strengthening exchange and training of procuratorial personnel, and serving national modernization, continuously improving the performance ability and level of procuratorial organs, and better benefiting the people of our country and the region.
