Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces should focus on flood prevention and control in the main stream and tributaries of the Songhua River, such as the Lalin River, Ant River, and Mudan River, and scientifically regulate flood control projects. In the near future, Guangxi, Yunnan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and other regions should focus on the most unfavorable situation and strictly prevent extreme rainfall, and strengthen the inspection and defense of small and medium-sized rivers, reservoirs, tailings ponds, and weak embankments. It is reported that the current National Flood Control Administration maintains a Level 2 emergency response for flood control in Tianjin and Hebei, and a Level 3 emergency response for flood control in Beijing, Jilin, and Heilongjiang.
