The medal ceremony was held in the Chinese peacekeeping force camp located at the Marigao Super Camp. The Commander in Chief of the Mali Stabilization Mission, Mamadou Guy, and Chinese Ambassador to Mali, Chen Zhihong, attended the ceremony. After the award ceremony, Guy fully affirmed the work of the Chinese peacekeeping forces in the mission area and expressed gratitude. He said that the Chinese peacekeeping forces have performed very well and strongly supported the various authorized tasks carried out by the Mali Stabilization Mission. The Malian Stabilization Mission Command highly recognizes the performance of Chinese peacekeeping personnel. The tenth batch of Chinese peacekeeping troops to Mali is composed of three sub teams: defense infantry, engineers, and medical personnel.
