This has pointed out the direction for civilization research and deepened our understanding of the significant theoretical and practical significance of civilization research. The Western academic community has formed a set of Western centric views on civilization. For example, considering factors such as metallurgy, writing, and cities as symbols of human society entering a civilized era, and taking the characteristics of Western civilization as the universal standards of human civilization. In essence, the Western knowledge system contains a deep theoretical perspective of Western centrism, and they mostly understand the major civilizations in human history through the value preset of Western centrism. Hegel is a representative of the Western centrist civilization view. The thinking of civilization in German ancient philosophy began with Kant's "Universal Historical Concepts from the Perspective of World Citizens", followed by Fichte's "Fundamental Features of the Present Age", and then gradually improved to Hegel. In Hegel's view, the national spirit became the true entity of civilization for the first time, endowing the major civilizations of humanity with a unique position and value in the unfolding process of world history. Hegel reflected on various civilizations in human history through the process of spiritual realization, proposing that "the dawn of spirit rises in the East", "spirit only exists in the West", and "Eastern ideas must be excluded from the history of philosophy". The basis of Hegel's argument comes from second-hand literature of missionaries, which clearly lacks support from scientific materials. The British scholar Spencer put forward the idea of the survival of the fittest in civilization, and his social Darwinism proposition often served as a defense for colonial plunder. There is also a reflection on Western centrism in the Western academic community. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, from Nietzsche, to Husserl's The Crisis of European Science and the phenomenology of Transcendence, to Spengler's The Decline of the West, to Weber's Protestant Ethics and the Spirit of Capitalism, the pessimism of Western civilization enveloped the ideological circle in Europe. German scholar Husserl pointed out that in European society at that time, "people avoided issues that were decisive for true human nature with a cold attitude. German scholar Spengler believes that the decline of the West "will occupy the first few centuries of the next millennium, but the signs of its decline have already been predicted and can be felt around us today. German scholar Weber revealed the "final stage of development" of Western civilization: "Experts have no soul, indulgents have no heart; this waste imagines that it has reached an unprecedented level of civilization. More importantly, Western scholars have conducted profound reflections on the concept of Western civilization.
