Respecting the law and abiding by the law has become a common practice

Recently, the National Office for Legal Popularization released the third batch of "Innovative Cases of National Legal Popularization and Legal Governance". These cases have taken effective measures to address the difficulties and key issues in the work of legal popularization and governance, with high public recognition and strong sense of gain. They have innovative significance in terms of work concepts, institutional mechanisms, methods, and other aspects. According to reports, in order to encourage local and grassroots efforts to focus on differentiated exploration and identify the good experiences and practices created by various departments in the work of legal popularization and governance, starting from 2019, the National Office for Legal Popularization has organized a selection activity for the "National Innovative Cases of Legal Popularization and Governance". A rule of law society is the foundation for building a rule of law country. Various regions and departments promote the innovative development of universal legal education, further enhance citizens' legal literacy and the level of legalization of social governance, and strive to make respecting and abiding by the law a common practice in the entire society. Strengthening the rule of law education for young people and helping them "buckle the first button in life" requires efforts in targeted and effective legal education, especially strengthening the rule of law education for young people, and continuously improving the awareness and literacy of all citizens in the rule of law. In recent years, the education system has taken multiple measures to promote the integration of rule of law education into the national education system: overall planning, issuing the "Outline of Youth Rule of Law Education", clarifying the teaching priorities and requirements of each stage; Efforts will be made to strengthen curriculum construction, offer professional courses on ethics and the rule of law, and promote integration into other disciplines; Innovating methods, promoting the integration of in-class and extracurricular activities, online and offline activities, and combining daily legal education with brand promotion... In addition, various regions actively integrate multiple resources and innovate and carry out unique legal education practices for young people. In the classroom of Liyong Primary School in Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, traffic police used a large screen and combined with real-life cases around them to explain many things to everyone, such as the prohibition of chasing and fighting when crossing the road, "stopping at red lights, walking at green lights," and wearing safety helmets when riding electric bicycles. A seemingly ordinary traffic safety education course, with the integration of interesting Q&A, interactive communication, and traffic gesture exercises, students listened attentively throughout the entire process and actively participated in the interaction. Foshan City selects outstanding talents from public security officers and serves as the principals of rule of law, drug control, transportation, and fire protection. Through immersive situational experience, we strive to create the "Four Principals" brand of legal education for young people. In 2022, on the basis of the "four principals" of rule of law, drug control, transportation, and fire protection, judges, prosecutors, and lawyers will be added as vice principals of rule of law, and 1523 vice principals of rule of law will be selected and hired for over 700 primary and secondary schools. A mock court is currently in session at Chengguan Primary School in Hengshan District, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Participating students play different roles in simulated "trials" according to the judicial trial procedures, experiencing firsthand the dignity and fairness of the law. This is an activity of the "red scarf Law School" brand of youth rule of law education in Shaanxi. From picture books, anime, games, to debate competitions, simulations
