The "Fox Hunting 2023" special operation is an important component of the "Skynet 2023" operation deployed and carried out by the Central Anti Corruption Coordination Group's Office for International Chasing, Smuggling, and Cross border Corruption Governance. It is reported that the public security organs will, in accordance with the deployment requirements, increase the efforts to tackle key cases of fugitive and stolen goods recovery, effectively improve the quality and efficiency of fugitive and stolen goods recovery, deepen and expand law enforcement cooperation channels, and assist the Discipline Inspection Commission and the Supervision Commission to carry out the recovery of fugitive suspect. The relevant officials of the Ministry of Public Security stated that the national public security organs will carry out the "Fox Hunting 2023" special operation from the perspective of safeguarding national interests and security, better serve the central anti-corruption struggle and the battle against major risks, and effectively maintain national security and social stability. It is understood that in 2022, the national public security organs will continue to carry out the "Fox Hunting 2022" special action, and capture more than 700 economic suspect who have fled from abroad.
