The strong vitality of Chinese path to modernization lies in its popularity. This is fundamentally different from the early modernization exploration of many European and American countries. For hundreds of years, the practice of Western modernization has been based on the fundamental logic of "capital first", using "people" as a tool to achieve capital appreciation driven by profits, resulting in the alienation of capital from "people", greatly degrading the basic dignity of "people", causing the polarization between the rich and the poor to continue to worsen, and increasing social inequality and class polarization, seriously damaging the vital interests of the people. In contrast, the exploration of China's modernization path is based on the logic of "people oriented", driven by the people's interests, public interests, and social interests, and upholds the value concept of people first. The CPC is a Marxist party. The nature and purpose of the party determine that our party must unswervingly implement its original mission of "working for the happiness of the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation", and promote people centered modernization with the value orientation of "human liberation" and the realization of free and comprehensive development of people. Looking back on the centennial struggle of the Party, the people's character runs through the entire process of modernization exploration. In the semi colonial and semi feudal period, achieving national independence and people's liberation was the central task of the CPC and the prerequisite for carrying out modernization.
