On the eve of returning home, all the officers and men of the ninth batch of peacekeeping troops to Mali were awarded the "Peace Medal of honor" by the United Nations. Mali has a volatile security situation, frequent terrorist attacks and a poor natural environment. During the one-year mandate period, the ninth batch of peacekeeping troops to Mali overcame various difficulties and successfully completed various tasks. The security detachment successfully handled many emergencies; The engineering unit completed 53 construction tasks and was called "the model of Mali's peacekeeping mission area" by the Engineering Department of the United Nations Mission in Mali; The medical team has received more than 3000 patients, and is called the "guardian of life on the peacekeeping battlefield" by the friendly peacekeeping forces.
