The "100 Hong Kong Special Students Traveling to the Motherland" Ganzhou Cultural Tour, jointly organized by the Asian Tourism Exchange Center and the Ganzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press, Publication and Tourism, held its first group departure ceremony on the 16th at the West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station in Hong Kong. The delegation visited and exchanged ideas in Ganzhou, Jiangxi from April 16th to April 19th for four days. It is reported that the event aims to encourage and support Hong Kong students to understand the national conditions and the latest developments of the country, enhance national identity, reflect the country's care and concern for Hong Kong special students, and at the same time, enhance and expand the popularity and influence of Ganzhou study tour products in Hong Kong. The inaugural group of the "100 Hong Kong Special Students Traveling to the Motherland" series of activities attracted 24 special students from three special schools in Hong Kong to participate. In order to better ensure the safety and convenience of travel for special needs students, principals, some teachers, and representatives of student parents from three special schools also participated in this event, providing one-on-one care and support for special needs students participating in the delegation. During the 4-day journey in Ganzhou, students will visit the Ruijin Republic Cradle Scenic Area, the Memorial Park of the Central Red Army's Long March Departure in Yudu, and the Ganzhou Museum to experience the spirit of martyrs and inspire patriotism. To promote the exchange of special students between the two regions, the first delegation will also arrange to interact and learn with local special students at Gan County Special Education School, and establish friendships. Zhang Dong, Director of the Asia Tourism Exchange Center, stated that promoting Hong Kong special students to travel to their home country is one of the key work goals of the Asia Tourism Center this year. He hopes that through professional group inspections and the itinerary of the first group, the Asia Tourism Center will work with relevant institutions to develop a guide for special students to study abroad, and promote the standardized development of special students to study abroad.
