The third anniversary series of activities of the Guangzhou Nansha Guangdong Hong Kong Cooperation Advisory Committee was held on the 16th in Nansha. Liang Zhenying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Advisor to the Advisory Committee, led a delegation to conduct an on-site inspection of Nansha and attended the first working meeting of the Advisory Committee in 2024 and the appointment ceremony of the second session of the Committee's members and experts. Since its establishment in April 2021, the Guangzhou Nansha Guangdong Hong Kong Cooperation Advisory Committee has adopted a consultative committee operation model close to Hong Kong, appointing mainland and Hong Kong personnel to receive specific consultations, and concentrating wisdom to jointly form recommendations that are in line with the actual situation, needs, and strong operability of Guangdong and Hong Kong. At present, the Advisory Committee has a total of 24 members from the Hong Kong side, 16 members from the mainland, and 41 experts, providing intelligent strength for Nansha to build a rule linkage mechanism and connect with a new highland. 14 specialized working groups are operating substantively, promoting cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong through work meetings, on-site research, project research, online presentations, and other means. In terms of the connection mechanism of rules, Nansha has achieved direct work exchange between district level tax departments and the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department through the mediation of the Advisory Committee, promoting the connection of more than 10 tax rules. In addition, Nansha has achieved professional qualification recognition for Hong Kong and Macao professionals in six fields, including legal services, urban planning, health, construction, taxation, and tourism. 116 Hong Kong and Macao talents have been certified to provide professional services in Nansha. In terms of promoting Guangdong Hong Kong cooperation projects, multiple key areas of livelihood cooperation have been established in Nansha, including the Hong Kong style gold medal general clinic, Hong Kong and Macao resident health service center, Minxin Hong Kong children's school, and traditional Chinese medicine trading platform. The Hong Kong style international community plan has also been approved, helping Hong Kong and Macao residents build a new home for living and working in Nansha. In addition, key projects such as the Greater Bay Area Shipping Joint Trading Center, the Guangzhou Nansha Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Climate Investment and Financing Center, and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou Nansha) Cross border Wealth Management and Asset Management Center are steadily advancing. In terms of building a business association service brand, the Advisory Committee Service Center, as a physical operation platform, has gathered 30 Hong Kong institutions, attracting more than 10 institutions to register representative offices or send representatives to work permanently, promoting 16 member institutions to achieve more than 20 Guangdong Hong Kong cooperation achievements in logistics cooperation, food industry docking, Hong Kong style elderly care services, biotechnology research and development, cross-border medical cooperation and other fields. Leung Chun ying said that in the future, there is still huge room for cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong, and we will continue to play the role of the Advisory Committee to contribute to deepening Guangdong Hong Kong cooperation.
