The "National Security Education Day Carnival 2024" held on the 14th not only held national education lectures, youth emotional lectures, and a series of national education booth games, but also arranged Dongba guided tours, allowing citizens to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Saigon. Liu Zhen, Deputy Director of the Cultural, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, attended the launch ceremony and visited exhibitions and performances with the public. Liu Zhen stated that the "Maintenance of National Security Ordinance" was implemented on March 23, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region fulfilled its constitutional responsibility for local legislation under Article 23 of the Basic Law of Hong Kong, providing more effective protection for national security. At the community level, the Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism actively promotes and deepens the public's understanding and recognition of Chinese culture and various aspects of the country, enhances the public's awareness and sense of responsibility for maintaining national security, such as adding an exhibition "Hong Kong Coastal Defense Story", strengthening the display of Japanese invasion of China and Hong Kong defense war, and establishing the "Office for Promoting Chinese Culture" to enhance the public's understanding of Chinese history and culture and national identity, deepen national security concepts and patriotism.
