APPT x PADEL+Plate Tennis Grand Slam Hong Kong Station Successfully Held

On April 14th, the APPT x PADEL+Slam Tennis Grand Slam Hong Kong Station was successfully concluded. This event, hosted by PADEL+and supported by the Hong Kong Board Tennis Association, attracted over 100 teams and over 160 players from over 30 countries worldwide, setting a record for the highest number of players and laying a beautiful blueprint for the future of Hong Kong's board tennis. The conference also specially provides sports therapy, cooling ice baths, gyms, and produces travel guides and other services, allowing athletes from various countries to fully enjoy the competition and feel at home during their stay in Hong Kong. The Grand Slam is a gathering of skilled players, and the competition is intense. In the amateur mixed group, Jerry Zhang and Zhaoyu Chaiu successfully won the championship. In the amateur women's category, the championship was won by Michelle Wu and Zhaoyu Chaiu. In the amateur men's category, the champions are Endika Ramos and Maximiliano Luciuk. In the mixed career group, BEMBO and Maria Rural Estrada won the championship. In the professional women's category, the championship was won by Patricia Garcia and Mar í a Mayor. Finally, in the professional men's group, Pol Alsina and David successfully won the championship. In addition, Hong Kong athletes have performed outstandingly. In the professional group, Aziz Khan performed well and successfully made it to the top 16. In the amateur group, Zou Junlin and Lu Tiefeng successfully reached the top four; Zhou Junhao and Yao Zixin successfully entered the top 16. In addition, former Hong Kong footballer McGee successfully won second place in the mixed doubles legacy tournament. Their outstanding performance showcases their outstanding cricket skills and sportsmanship, pushing the sport of cricket to a new level. Figure 1: The APPT x PADEL+Slam Tennis Hong Kong Grand Slam attracted over 100 teams and 160 players from over 30 countries around the world to participate. In terms of technological application, the 5G wireless electronic eagle eye system was introduced in this Grand Slam to help referees more accurately determine whether the ball is out of bounds or touching the line, which is the first application in similar Asian competitions. The complete success of this Grand Slam has laid an important milestone for the Hong Kong board tennis sport. This competition not only provides a platform for local athletes to compete on the international stage, but also demonstrates the determination of the Hong Kong Board Tennis Association to promote board tennis. Figure 2: This Grand Slam is highly anticipated and will further promote the popularization of board tennis. To continue this grand event, the Hong Kong Board Tennis Association will hold the Hong Kong Board Tennis Open from May 15th to 19th at PADEL+. The competition is about to accept registration, with a total prize money exceeding HKD 20000. In addition, the competition also arranges training courses for participating players, aiming to further promote the sport of board tennis and promote its development in Hong Kong and even globally.
