The launch ceremony of the 77th Cannes International Film Festival's "Brilliant East" global event and the anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Alliance Film and Television Culture Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "launch ceremony") was recently held in Nansha, where numerous experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs in the film and television industry gathered to jointly explore the development of film and television culture in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. At the event, attending experts expressed that Nansha can fully leverage the advantages of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, gather the new technology film industry, and achieve the curve overtaking and high-quality development of the digital film and television industry. The launch ceremony was supported by the Guangzhou People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Propaganda Department of the Nansha District Committee, the Nansha District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and the Guangdong Provincial Association for the Promotion of Film and Television Culture. The filming footage of the Cannes Film Festival film "I'm Waiting for You in a Dreamy Place" was showcased to the audience on site, and the signing ceremony for the first batch of members participating in the "Brilliant East" event and the anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Alliance Film and Television Culture Committee were held. At the conference, Dr. Cai Guanshen, Chairman of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Alliance, President of the Hong Kong China General Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of Xinhua Group, led a donation to produce a documentary about Master Zhao Wuji. This documentary introduces Zhao Wuji's experience of learning art from Hangzhou to Hong Kong, and improving the integration of Chinese and Western cultures in France, becoming a world-class art master. It is also a model of art exchange between China and France. As the geometric center of the Greater Bay Area, Nansha District has a strong foundation in digital industry and abundant talent reserves. At the event, Cai Junsi, CEO of Xinhua Group in Hong Kong, President of Xinhua Technology Group, and Executive Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Alliance, stated that since its establishment in 2017, the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneur Alliance has been committed to promoting industrial cooperation, industrial upgrading, and brand expansion across the Greater Bay Area.
