The signing ceremony for the high-quality development of the civil aviation maintenance industry in the Greater Bay Area (referred to as the "signing ceremony") was held in Guangzhou on March 20th. At the signing ceremony, China Southern Airlines Engineering Technology Branch, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd., Mingjie Macau Airport Service Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Civil Aviation Vocational and Technical College and other parties jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation, marking the official establishment of the first civil aviation maintenance industry alliance (referred to as the "Greater Bay Area Industry Alliance") in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and further deepening civil aviation maintenance cooperation in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao region. The establishment of the Greater Bay Area Industrial Alliance aims to aggregate industrial advantages and resources, organize key enterprises, relevant universities and training institutions in the civil aviation maintenance industry chain of the Greater Bay Area, promote enterprise led and market-oriented cooperation, explore new mechanisms and models of industry university research and innovation, and establish a new system for coordinated development of industries. Aircraft maintenance belongs to the high-end aviation manufacturing industry. In recent years, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao have continuously improved their aviation maintenance industry system, expanded their industrial scale, enhanced driving effects, and optimized enterprise services. Currently, the civil aviation industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area has a relatively complete chain of civil aviation maintenance industry.
