The Financial Services Fujian Hong Kong Development Cooperation Forum, with the theme of "Fujian Hong Kong Revitalization Energy, Prosperity and Integration of the Two Regions", was held on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on the 20th. The forum is jointly hosted by the Department of Commerce of Fujian Province and Industrial Bank, and attended by government officials, economists, representatives of entrepreneurs, and heads of financial institutions from Fujian and Hong Kong. During his video speech, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, stated that Fujian is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese and has always had close relations with Hong Kong. In the early years, many Fujian villagers had already migrated to Hong Kong, making it the second largest ancestral home of Hong Kong's population. At the same time, Hong Kong is also the largest source of foreign investment in Fujian, with broad cooperation space between the two regions. At present, the cooperation mechanism between Fujian and Hong Kong is constantly maturing and achieving fruitful results. We hope that the two regions will continue to work together and work together to create a brighter future for the cooperation between Fujian and Hong Kong. In his speech, Lv Jiajin, Chairman of Industrial Bank, stated that in the 36 years since its establishment, with the help of Fujian's development and domestic economic takeoff, Industrial Bank has developed from a regional small bank to a comprehensive financial services group. In the 10 years since its establishment, the Hong Kong branch has also achieved rapid development, with total assets exceeding HKD 230 billion, helping nearly 200 Fujian enterprises to develop in Hong Kong and providing financing and intelligence for more than 1500 Hong Kong enterprises. Lv Jiajin stated that Industrial Bank is a witness and beneficiary of the joint development of Fujian and Hong Kong and the Chinese story behind it. It needs to make greater efforts and contributions to deepen cooperation and common prosperity between Fujian and Hong Kong. In the future, Industrial Bank will focus on five areas of work: serving the real economy, polishing the "three business cards" of green banks, wealth banks, and investment banks, strengthening industry cooperation, building a research think tank, and promoting talent exchange. Chen Xiuying, a second level inspector of the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, stated that last year the central government supported the construction of a demonstration zone for cross-strait integration and development in Fujian, and established two economic and trade innovation and development demonstration parks in Fujian, China Indonesia and China Philippines. Pilot projects were launched to connect with international high standards and promote institutional opening up. This is a new opportunity for Fujian's development and enterprise investment. We look forward to strengthening industrial and economic cooperation between Fujian and Hong Kong, and accelerating the development of new quality productive forces. In order to further deepen the deep integration of ports, cultural tourism, and youth exchanges between Fujian and Hong Kong, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held at the forum between Fujian Port Group Co., Ltd. and China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd., Fujian Tourism Development Group and Hong Kong China Travel International Investment Co., Ltd., and Fuzhou No.1 Middle School and Hong Kong Peiqiao Middle School.
