Yan Yongqing stated that the Canton Fair is an important window to showcase China's opening-up to the outside world, and he hopes that Hong Kong businessmen will visit Guangzhou next month to seize new opportunities and achieve new gains. Chen Baili stated that the SAR government will provide more diversified measures to cooperate with enterprises to participate in the Canton Fair, including providing more information or exhibition services to help enterprises do a good job of docking and continuously optimizing existing measures. Cai Guanshen, President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, stated that in recent years, the Canton Fair's Hong Kong office has provided multiple convenient services for Hong Kong buyers. He hopes that the Canton Fair will further explore and make good use of Hong Kong as a platform, and do a good job in external publicity and promotion. The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and hosted by the China Foreign Trade Center. Since its establishment in 1957, the Canton Fair has been held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, and has successfully held 134 sessions so far.
