At around 12:00 on the same day, a truck carrying 50 boxes of Macau butter cookies entered the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge. Unlike before, the outer packaging of this batch of cookies had a special QR code "identity information". On site customs personnel can scan the QR code through inspection equipment and enter the "Import Food One Code Customs Traceability Subsystem" to view the full traceability information of Macau made food with just one click, as well as the accompanying hygiene certificate issued by the Macau Municipal Administration, greatly improving the efficiency of regulatory operations. "The Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge is one of the main channels for the supply of Macau specialty food to the mainland. In recent years, more and more Macau specialty products have been transported to the mainland through the Bridge Port. The 'Import Food One Code Customs Traceability Subsystem' is a traceability management information system developed by Gongbei Customs in conjunction with the Macao Municipal Administration, Macau food production enterprises, etc., to meet the requirements for exporting Macau manufactured food to the mainland." Guo Yanhai believes that when enterprises apply this system to clear customs, the customs system can automatically verify the QR code on the product packaging. In addition, the customs can implement convenient measures such as priority inspection and reducing inspection time to achieve rapid release.
