Huawei releases a communication big model

At the 2024 World Mobile Communications Conference held in Barcelona, Spain, Huawei released a self-developed large-scale model for the telecommunications industry. Yang Chaobin, Huawei Director and President of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Products and Solutions, introduced at a press conference held at the World Mobile Communications Conference on the 26th that Huawei has built a large model serving the communication industry based on more than 30 years of accumulated industry knowledge and experience. It is reported that the large model fully leverages the advantages of intelligent technology and provides two types of application capabilities, namely, providing intelligent language interaction capabilities for different roles, improving employee knowledge level and work efficiency; Targeting different operational and maintenance scenarios, providing intelligent agent applications, analyzing and dismantling complex processes, choreographing operational plans, and ensuring user experience and satisfaction. The Huawei Communication Big Model is a commercial model based on artificial intelligence, which is gradually highlighting the value of intelligence in its application. This large model adopts advanced technology and algorithms, providing key intelligent technology capabilities for optimizing communication network performance, intelligent scheduling resources, etc., aiming to achieve the intelligent goals of the 5G-A era that are based on 5G technology. The Huawei communication big model has many typical scenario practices. In the case of agile business distribution, the multi-modal accurate evaluation of the number assistant was used to achieve rapid user number issuance; In the case of user experience assurance, multi-objective experience assurance was achieved through the optimization ability of large models; In the context of assisted troubleshooting, cross process quality analysis and dialogue assisted processing significantly improve the efficiency of fault handling. Huawei technology experts gave an example to Xinhua News Agency reporters when introducing specific cases, stating that network failures that used to take ordinary users hours or even days to solve could be solved in 20 to 30 minutes through a large model. The release of Huawei's communication big model is regarded as an important technological innovation in the communication industry, and is expected to play an important role in many fields such as artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, and factory automation. Yang Chaobin also called on telecommunications industry partners to work together at the press conference, actively utilize intelligent technology capabilities through industrial cooperation promotion, talent cultivation, and business scenario innovation, and jointly move towards the era of intelligence in the telecommunications industry.
