The reporter learned from the Central Cyberspace Administration that recently, the Central Cyberspace Administration, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security jointly issued the "Key Points for Improving Digital Literacy and Skills for the Whole People in 2024". The key points of the work have clearly defined the annual work goals: by the end of 2024, the development level of digital literacy and skills for the entire population in China will reach a new level, the digital literacy and skills cultivation system will be more sound, the construction of a digital accessible environment will be comprehensively promoted, the digital divide between groups will be further narrowed, the intelligent and convenient digital life will be of higher quality, the cyberspace will be more standardized and orderly, and it will help improve the overall quality of China's population in the digital age, support the construction of a strong network country Building a talent strong country. The work points have deployed 17 key tasks in 6 aspects. One is to cultivate high-level composite digital talents, including comprehensively improving the digital literacy and skills of teachers and students, enhancing the digital performance ability of leaders and civil servants, cultivating high-level digital craftsmen, cultivating rural digital talents, and strengthening the digital talent team in the industry. The second is to accelerate the bridging of the digital divide, including building a digital accessible environment and providing inclusive public welfare services. The third is to support the strengthening, optimization, and expansion of the digital economy, including accelerating the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises and expanding the demand space for digital consumption. The fourth is to expand smart and convenient digital life scenarios, including promoting inclusive and efficient digital public services, and improving the level of digitalization in key areas of life.
