After the train stopped, the staff and young volunteers on the platform immediately welcomed the passengers and guided them out of the station in an orderly manner. "Along the way, there were dedicated people guiding us to take the bus and giving us a gift package for returning to work, which was very heartwarming." Luo Jinrong, from Fuquan, Guizhou, excitedly showed his gift package to the reporter, which included bread, instant noodles, umbrellas... Luo Jinrong has been working at Hengsheng Textile Factory in Huadu District, Guangzhou for 10 years, and this year is his first time taking a special train for returning to work. The more than 600 migrant workers on the train are mostly old employees who have returned to work like Luo Jinrong, as well as some young people who are looking forward to finding jobs in Guangzhou. The reporter saw on the train that the on duty personnel had prepared disposable paper cups for the migrant workers, as well as free power banks, needle and thread bags, to facilitate emergency use by passengers in need. "Please take your luggage and follow us this way. The connecting bus has already stopped at the P8 parking lot." Guangzhou South Station exit passenger officer Xie Hai introduced that considering the service work after the arrival of the special train, Guangzhou South Station has formulated a rapid evacuation plan after the arrival of the special train. Staff and young volunteers have been dispatched at the platform, exit, elevator entrance, parking lot, and other places to provide "one-on-one" assistance services for key passengers such as the elderly, children, sick, disabled, and pregnant, ensuring that migrant workers leave the station in an orderly and fast manner. "After the Spring Festival holiday, there is a high flow of migrant workers from multiple directions such as Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Hunan who arrive in Guangdong and return to work. Guangzhou Railway Group will increase the arrangement of return to work special trains according to the employment needs of enterprises, to ensure the smooth return to work of employees in key projects and industries in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area." Peng Xiang, Chief Engineer of the Passenger Transport Department of Guangzhou Railway Group, introduced that in order to ensure the smooth arrival of migrant workers in Guangdong, the railway will strengthen its contact with local governments and employers. Based on the return to work needs of migrant workers, it plans to operate 24 "point-to-point" special trains for migrant workers, with an estimated 15000 transportation workers arriving in Guangdong.
