Around 5 pm on the 10th, the road from Hong Kong Cultural Centre Square to Nathan Road was already filled with people on both sides. Ms. Liu, a Hong Kong citizen, is one of the crowd. Tonight, her child will participate in the performance of the New Year International Concert Night. She had been looking forward to this day for a long time. The night of the New Year International Performance was originally a signature event on the first day of the Chinese New Year in Hong Kong. It was temporarily suspended during the epidemic and returned this year in anticipation. The event is themed "Dragon Teng Hong Kong Celebrates the New Year", showcasing the vitality of the Year of the Dragon with magnificent and dazzling floats and diverse performances, bringing a wonderful and diverse large-scale party for local Hong Kong citizens and tourists at home and abroad. The parade team departed from the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Square around 8 pm, passing through Guangdong Road, Haiphong Road, and Nathan Road, and ending at the Sheraton Hotel. During the nearly two-hour parade, 9 floats, 16 mainland and international performance teams, and 13 Hong Kong local performance teams alternated to present a dazzling performance. Taking the image of a dragon as the theme, embellished with auspicious cloud patterns, and incorporating fashionable line elements, Cathay Pacific's float was the first to appear, resembling a playful and agile divine beast soaring through the clouds. Alison from London recently came to Hong Kong to visit her husband who works here. The couple arrived early near Guangdong Road and found an excellent viewing spot. For the first time experiencing the Chinese New Year, she found it very interesting: "The dragon is a symbol of China, the atmosphere on site is very good, and the performances are very exciting." Next, floats such as the Macao Special Administrative Region Government Tourism Bureau, Hong Kong Disneyland, and the Quality Tourism Service Association were unveiled, and audiences along the way took out their phones and cameras to record beautiful moments. The arrival of Hong Kong Ocean Park and Water Park floats caused a small wave of excitement at the scene. The "animal ambassadors" of Ocean Park waved to both sides of the road, and the audience responded enthusiastically. On the right side of the float, there are iconic elements of the Ocean Park, such as cable cars and exciting and fun mobile games, as well as neon signs inside the "Old Street Neon Splendid Festival". About 50 park performers sang and danced to Hong Kong citizens and tourists for the New Year. Before the float parade began, performer Lin Jinyu said in an interview with reporters that he and his colleagues had prepared about a month to present the best performance to the audience. "For me, participating in a float parade is a rare thing. Let's have fun with everyone and start a new year with joy." The float at the Asian Tourism Exchange Center showcases the latest achievements of national development, such as Tiangong-2 and domestically produced large planes, as well as famous scenic spots and promotional slogans in mainland China through display screens. Assistant Director of the Asian Tourism Exchange Center, Cheng Ruishan, said that the float is themed "Happy Spring Festival, Dragon Travels Across the World", creating a festive and peaceful atmosphere. "At the same time, we hope to use the float parade as a form to introduce tourism resources from various regions to everyone and promote cultural exchange.". The Hong Kong Jockey Club float raced forward amidst cheers, sending New Year's blessings to everyone. On the float, there are horses adorned with thousands of flowers, as well as flower animations inspired by Chinese geometric patterns. The final appearance is the Hong Kong Tourism Development Board float, with a golden hollow dragon dance and the Hong Kong skyline on the body shining together, intersecting
