33 scientific experiments launched into space with Tianzhou-7

Reporters learned from the Space Application Engineering and Technology Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on January 18 that the Tianzhou VII cargo spaceship was launched at Wenchang Space Launch Site on the evening of January 17. The Chinese Academy of Sciences, as the unit in charge of the space application system of the manned space project, has carried out experimental loads, experimental units and samples, experimental consumables, spare parts and other materials on the Tianzhou VII mission to support the space station to carry out continuous rolling space science experiments and application tests. It is reported that there are a total of 61 upstream products for the Tianzhou-7 mission, including 16 standard cargo packages, 1 set of cell upstream life support device, and 1 set of 4 ℃ upstream microfluidic chip. After the materials are transported to the space station, a total of 33 scientific experiments will be carried out in the experimental facilities, including space life science, space materials science, microgravity fluid physics and combustion science. The research of experimental materials involves 18 units both inside and outside the institute. In the field of space life science and biotechnology, two scientific experiments will be conducted using the Wentian module biotechnology experimental cabinet to study the regulatory effects and mechanisms of Cx43 and S1P signaling pathways on bone tissue cells in microgravity environments, as well as the molecular targets and epigenetic characteristics of the effects of space microgravity conditions on directional differentiation of human bone cells; Two scientific experiments were conducted using the Mengtian module space radiation biology exposure experimental device to study the photochemical behavior of life molecules in space exposure environments, and to study the tolerance and mechanism of extreme environmental microorganisms to space exposure environments; Conduct a study on the radiation damage and adaptability of anaerobic archaea in space using the Wentian module life ecology experimental cabinet and the Mengtian module space radiation biology exposure experimental device. In the fields of microgravity fluid physics and combustion science, research on fluid transport and stability of variable gravity propellants will be conducted using the Wentiancang variable gravity science experimental cabinet; In the field of space materials science, scientific experiments will be conducted on the physical mechanism of high-performance iron-based magnetostrictive alloy materials using the Tianhe module containerless material experimental cabinet.
