On the morning of January 19th, the press conference for the second session of the 14th People's Congress of Guangdong Province was held in Guangzhou. At the meeting, Zhuang Jianer, Deputy Leader of the Propaganda Group of the Conference Preparation Office, Spokesperson of the Conference, and Deputy Director of the Office of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, released relevant information about the conference to the media reporters. According to the decision of the 6th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th Provincial People's Congress and with the consent of the Provincial Party Committee, the 2nd meeting of the 14th Provincial People's Congress will open in Guangzhou on the morning of January 23 and close on the afternoon of January 25, with a duration of three days. Zhuang Jianer stated that 2023 is the beginning year of fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and also a milestone year for Guangdong's reform and development. The CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee made the specific deployment of "1310", united and led the cadres and masses of the province, and took solid steps to promote the practice of Chinese path to modernization in Guangdong with the will and drive of "building a new Guangdong". The upcoming second session of the 14th Provincial People's Congress will listen to and review the work reports of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, the Provincial Government, the Provincial Court, and the Provincial Procuratorate, review the plan report and draft, budget report and draft, with important content.
