On the 18th, the reporter learned from a press conference held by the Tourism Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government that during the Lunar New Year period, the bureau will hold a series of exciting New Year celebrations, allowing residents and tourists to celebrate the New Year in Macau with excitement. The Director of the Tourism Bureau of the Special Administrative Region Government, Wen Qihua, delivered a speech stating that she looks forward to the exciting New Year activities combined with Macau's diverse tourism and leisure elements, allowing tourists to fully experience the charm of "tourism+". The Tourism Bureau of the Special Administrative Region Government will continue to promote the cross-border integration of "tourism+", expand diversified customer sources, and strive to promote the diversified development of tourism and leisure industry. It is reported that the highlight of the Chinese New Year celebration, "Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the 2024 Lunar New Year float show, Tenglong Yunzhuan Happy Spring Festival," will be held on February 12th and 17th. Through float parades, cultural performances, and float exhibitions, the charm of Macao's "tourism+grand event" will be showcased. The "Happy Spring Festival - Dragon Horse Spirit Fireworks Exhibition" will bring three 15 minute fireworks performances, each on the evenings of February 12th, 16th, and 24th, respectively, to bloom with festive blessings across the sea at the Macau Tourism Tower. In addition, the "Happy Spring Festival -2024 Dragon Dance Celebrating the New Year" community tour will be held on February 10th and 11th. The Dragon and Lion Team, along with the Macau tourism mascot "Maimai" and other performing groups, will visit different communities in Macau to pay New Year's greetings and present unique performances such as the Golden Dragon Parade.
