The Ministry of Culture and Tourism launches the 2024 Spring Festival themed event "Celebrating the Chinese New Year with Joy and Joy"

This event includes seven major sections and 25 main activities, covering various fields such as cultural and artistic performances for the benefit of the people, public service activities, intangible cultural heritage experience exhibitions, tourism and leisure consumption, ice and snow study tourism, cultural and museum exhibitions and exhibitions, international and domestic interactions, etc. It provides high-quality cultural and tourism products to enrich the holiday life of the people and meet their beautiful needs for celebrating the Chinese New Year. The "Cultural Welcoming Spring and Art for the People" section focuses on the cultural and artistic fields, and will hold activities such as the National Art Troupe's New Year Performance Season and the "Beauty Gathering - National Art Museum Collection Exhibition". The "Literary China" New Year special program will be launched, showcasing the achievements of socialist literary and artistic prosperity and development through various art forms such as opera, drama, music, dance, and art. The "Spring Comes to Ten Thousand Houses" section focuses on national cultural activities, and will collaborate with various regions to launch a series of "Village Evening" exhibition projects. Through activities such as the "Village Evening" relay live broadcast, "I want to hold the Village Evening", and "Appreciating New Year Paintings to celebrate the Chinese New Year", it will showcase the local atmosphere, customs, and cultural heritage of various regions, and promote the culture of the Spring Festival. The "Intangible Cultural Heritage Celebrating the New Year" section focuses on the protection, inheritance, and practice of intangible cultural heritage. Various colorful folk cultural activities, such as "Culture in Ten Thousand Families - Video Live Hometown Year", "New Year Paintings in Ten Thousand Families - Happy China Year", "Celebrating the New Year in Ancient Cities", "Dragon Festival Lantern Festival Welcoming the New Year", and "Dancing the Chinese Dragon" - Dragon Dance Parade, will be held in various regions. A series of main venue activities will be held in Hunan, Jiangsu, Guangdong, and other places. The "Tourism Welcoming Spring, Leisure and Chinese New Year" section focuses on tourism and leisure, vacation and sightseeing, and will launch a series of research tourism characteristic courses, boutique routes, and themed activities. A series of tourism promotion activities such as "Happy Ice and Snow Tourism Season", "My Hometown Has Treasures", and "New Year Travel Customs" will be carried out around the theme of "Check in Tourism and Leisure Opening the Happy Spring Festival". The "Benefiting Enterprises and Enjoying the People to Celebrate the New Year" section aims to meet the new cultural and tourism consumption needs of the people during the Spring Festival. It will widely mobilize cultural and tourism enterprises and institutions in various regions to create a national Spring Festival cultural and tourism consumption month, launch the "100 Cities and 100 Districts" financial support consumption action plan, and hold activities such as "Colorful Chinese Festival Goods" and "Travel to Rural Areas", so that the people can benefit and enterprises can truly benefit. The section of "Celebrating the Chinese New Year in the Cultural and Museum Museum" focuses on cultural and museum exhibitions. A series of Chinese New Year activities will continue to be held in museums, libraries, and intangible cultural heritage museums, with unique themed exhibitions, rich and colorful New Year customs experiences, and reading activities, which will further expand the culture of the Spring Festival
