In order to better meet the travel needs of passengers and further facilitate the business and tourism exchanges between residents in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the railway department plans to increase the stopping points at Futian Station for some trains that previously passed through but did not stop at Futian Station, in order to encrypt the train schedules between Futian Station and West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong.
