The District Councils of Wong Tai Sin District, North District, Shatin District and Tsuen Wan District are also planning to hold market fairs and carnivals during the Spring Festival, and launch various lantern parties on Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Night. The first power plant in Hong Kong is located in Wan Chai, and it was the first to light 50 electric street lights. The nearby streets are named after "sun", "moon", and "star" as a result. The Wan Chai District Council plans to establish approximately 50 small retro street light installations. The initial location for the check-in landmark is in the coastal area of Wan Chai, and it is expected to be completed within 2024. The first meeting of each district council also focused on activities such as home visits and warmth delivery by care teams. As the Spring Festival approaches, some district councilors, together with their local care team, conduct home visits and distribute lucky bags and other items. The Kwun Tong District Care Team will distribute 4000 lucky bags and conduct approximately 2000 home visits.
