Recently, the Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection, Restoration and Appraisal Center was unveiled and established in Jinan. The center is mainly responsible for the investigation, protection and restoration of movable cultural relics, project acceptance, as well as the organization and technical support of various cultural relic appraisal. It also has functions such as research, technical promotion, academic exchange, and training of cultural relic restoration and appraisal talents. At the establishment ceremony, the Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection, Restoration and Appraisal Center also collaborated with Shandong Provincial Analysis and Testing Center, Shandong Fiber Quality Monitoring Center, Shandong Geological Science Research Institute, and other units to establish the "Cultural Relics Science and Technology Appraisal Research Innovation Alliance". The alliance units will sign relevant cooperation agreements, establish extensive interdisciplinary, cross industry, and cross departmental cooperation relationships, innovate organization, share resources, collaborate innovation, and jointly tackle key issues, ultimately forming an authoritative community for cultural relic technology appraisal.
