The world is currently undergoing unprecedented changes, and the media should build communication bridges to answer questions about the world, the times, and history. In order to strengthen media cooperation and enhance the overseas dissemination of China's voice, on December 25th, Xu Xinying, the executive president of Hong Kong Mirror, and his delegation visited and exchanged views with the "Outlook New Era" magazine (referred to as "Lai Xin She"). The president of Lai Xin She, Wang Junzheng, and others warmly welcomed them. Subsequently, representatives from both sides held discussions on the current status of media development and deepening international communication. At the symposium, President Wang Junzheng stated that over the past 30 years since its establishment, Hong Kong Mirror has always carried out its work with the aim of "revitalizing China and being honest and outspoken", becoming an important window for Sino foreign exchanges. The media plays an important role in promoting cultural interaction and the development of international relations. Xinshe hopes to work together with Hong Kong Mirror to contribute to strengthening international communication. President Xu Xinying believes that Xinhua News Agency has built a bridge for China to understand the world and for the world to understand China. He hopes that both agencies can continue to play the role of mainstream media, strengthen friendly exchanges with media from various countries, and continuously improve their reporting and dissemination capabilities. After the meeting, representatives from both sides agreed to strengthen practical cooperation, continue to promote exchanges and mutual learning between the two societies, tap into new momentum of media cooperation, and leverage the strong power of the media in the century long changing situation.
