On December 18th, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Jinmei Academy was officially established and held its unveiling ceremony. More than 50 nationally renowned artists were hired as academic advisors, experts, and graduate supervisors of the academy. The establishment of Jinmei Academy has opened the way for professional higher art colleges in China to explore the reform of academy based education and teaching. It is a positive response and effective exploration to the key work of the Ministry of Education's "construction of academy based" higher education system and mechanism reform. Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts held a unveiling ceremony for the establishment of Jinmei Academy. The Liu Juncang Academy first appeared in the Tang Dynasty, similar to the Royal Library. At that time, the Lizheng Academy and the Jixian Hall Academy were established, becoming an important form of educational organization for gathering literati and scholars, and forming a unique educational system in Chinese history. In history, academies such as Bailudong, Yuelu, and Songyang were all academic centers at that time, serving as important places for cultural inheritance, educational development, and intellectual exchange. Jia Guangjian, Dean of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, stated that the "academy system" education model is in line with the traditional teaching model of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Chinese painting, which integrates indoor and college education. In the 1960s, the Chinese Painting major of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts cultivated a group of excellent artists and teaching staff through this teaching model, including Yang Deshu, Bai Gengyan, Lv Yunsuo, and Chen Dongzhi. Therefore, the establishment of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts is not only an extension of the traditional education model of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, but also a requirement for cultivating top-notch innovative talents in the new era. Jinmei Academy is a newly established secondary teaching unit of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, with a teaching team composed of leading figures from various professional fields both inside and outside the school. The academy adopts an open education model of "integrating ancient and modern, integrating Chinese and Western, and exploring and innovating", emphasizing interdisciplinary learning, improving the talent cultivation system of art disciplines with Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts characteristics and innovative high-level, committed to cultivating top-notch art talents with critical thinking and innovative abilities for the new era, who can bravely climb the artistic peak and promote the development of Chinese culture and art. On the occasion of the establishment of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Jinmei Academy, the "Kaihe" Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts Jinmei Academy mentor work invitation exhibition was held simultaneously. The exhibition has invited over 200 exquisite works from over a hundred nationally renowned artists, covering various categories such as traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, public art, and arts and crafts. These works also have expressions of details in the grand opening and closing. Artists either use bold and meticulous techniques or meticulously depict them, overflowing with inner emotions and spiritual aspirations amidst both reality and movement.
