At the conference, the debut of the first section of the Guangdong Jiangxi (Guangzhou Shaoguan Ganzhou) cross provincial hydrogen corridor on the Beijing Guangzhou Hong Kong Macao Expressway has received particular attention. This corridor has a total length of 428 kilometers, starting from Guangzhou and passing through G4 Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway, G6011 Nanshao Expressway, and G45 Daguang Expressway. It passes through Shaoguan and reaches Ganzhou, Jiangxi. Along the way, unloading and energy replenishment are carried out in Shaoguan, making it a demonstration line for inter provincial hydrogen energy heavy-duty truck logistics transportation between Guangdong and Jiangxi. The goods transported along the entire route are mainly steel and cement, which will fully leverage the advantages of hydrogen energy for "heavy load and long distance". Why is it different to use hydrogen energy to transport goods? Yang Qiang has calculated an account for us. "Taking each car running 500 kilometers back and forth every day as an example. Compared to diesel cars, hydrogen energy can save 50 cents per kilometer, and running for a day can save more than 200 yuan; compared to electric cars, although there is a difference in shipping costs per kilometer, it may require 800 kWh of electricity, so the weight of the battery will reach about 4 tons, limiting the transportation volume of goods. Hydrogen energy only needs 1.3-1.5 tons, which can increase the amount of goods transported and make up for the difference in shipping costs."
