The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the "2023 5G Factory Directory", selecting 300 completed 5G factories covering 24 major categories of the national economy. Currently, the "5G+Industrial Internet" is flourishing, with over 8000 projects nationwide. 5G has moved from peripheral auxiliary production links to core control links. To accelerate the comprehensive application of "5G+Industrial Internet" in various fields and links of industrial production, the previously issued "5G Fully Connected Factory Construction Guidelines" proposed to promote the construction of 10000 enterprises, build 1000 factories, and create 100 benchmarks. The 300 factories announced in this list were selected based on submissions from various regions. By industry, the general equipment manufacturing industry, computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry, and electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry ranked among the top three in terms of the number of 5G factories selected for the list among the 24 major categories of the national economy; Looking at the scenarios, there are 20 typical application scenarios for "5G+Industrial Internet", with over 50% of the 5G factories listed for practical use; Looking at the results, the energy efficiency of the mining, manufacturing, and construction industries has increased by 6.3%, 15.3%, and 15% respectively.
