"We should strengthen dialogue among civilizations, covering all forms of exchanges, because harmony is the only way to save mankind and the earth." Wang Tong proposed that all countries should respect each other On the basis of mutual understanding, we can learn from each other and benefit from each other, enhance cultural identity, strengthen cultural and commercial exchanges, and jointly improve the quality of life of people in each other's countries. When discussing the reference value of Mencius' wisdom in the exchange and mutual learning of Eastern and Western civilizations, Li Jianjun said that emerging industries and technologies such as the metaverse, ChatGPT, and big data are actually opportunities for China's excellent traditional culture to be used for the present. That evening, the attending guests enjoyed cultural performances with Chinese characteristics, such as playing the guzheng and singing traditional Chinese music. It is reported that the Mencius Public Welfare Foundation will hold a monthly "Oriental Civilization Summit Dialogue", and in 2024, 12 dialogue activities with different themes will be arranged.
