Improving the Precision of Digital Rural Construction

2023-11-15

In recent years, China has attached great importance to the construction of digital rural areas. The construction of smart agriculture, such as smart agricultural machinery, has started rapidly, new forms and models of rural digital economy, such as rural e-commerce, have been emerging, and digital services for the benefit of the people, such as "Internet plus+education", have been steadily promoted... The development of digital villages has brought new changes to the revitalization of rural industries, talents, culture, ecology and organizations, and has continued to provide new impetus for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, building a powerful agricultural country, and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization. The China Digital Rural Development Report released this year shows that the national level of digital rural development reached 39.1% in 2021. Overall, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the level of rural digitization, mainly including insufficient infrastructure construction, and relatively lagging information and communication infrastructure construction such as broadband networks and mobile networks in some rural areas; The level of information technology application is relatively low, and the application and acceptance of digital technology by elderly farmers are not high; There is a shortage of talents and a shortage of talent reserves in rural areas. In promoting the construction of digital rural areas, policy accuracy should be improved: strengthening infrastructure construction and increasing investment in rural information and communication infrastructure construction; Strengthen information technology application training to improve farmers' digital literacy and technology application ability; Cultivate digital rural talents and improve the quality and sustainable development level of digital rural construction. At the same time, improving the level of digital development in rural areas should not blindly pursue indicators. For example, in sparsely populated areas such as traditional pastoral areas and forest areas, the level of digital rural areas should correspond to basic production and living requirements to better meet needs. Based on the current rural development reality, there is great potential for the construction of digital rural areas. As long as we find the right path and comply with the development laws, digital rural areas will definitely contribute to the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization.
