The electronic information manufacturing industry is an important support for the development of industrial economy. Since the beginning of this year, China's electronic information manufacturing industry has shown a continuous recovery and structural optimization development trend. The production of products such as smartphones, smart TVs, integrated circuits, and optoelectronic devices has steadily increased, and industries such as solar cells and photovoltaics have flourished. Relevant investments have maintained rapid growth, production efficiency has gradually improved, and emerging growth points have shown impressive performance. The policy effect of the previously issued "Action Plan for Stable Growth of Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry from 2023 to 2024" is gradually becoming apparent. From specific data, from January to September, fixed assets investment in computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries above designated size increased by 10.2% year on year, 7.1 percentage points higher than the growth rate of fixed assets investment nationwide, and 4 percentage points higher than the growth rate of manufacturing investment. The added value of electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 1.4% year-on-year, an increase of 1.4 percentage points compared to the first half of the year, and the decrease in total profit growth rate narrowed by 2 percentage points. China's mobile phone production reached 1.09 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%, especially in September, a year-on-year increase of 11.8%; The production of solar cells reached 384 gigawatts, a year-on-year increase of 63.2%. The export of televisions is improving, with a year-on-year increase of 15.1% in export value. However, the electronic information manufacturing industry is still facing issues such as weaker expectations and slower growth, and demand still needs to be improved. From a domestic perspective, the traditional consumer market is saturated and the speed of product updates is slowing down. At the same time, there is insufficient innovation in new formats and models, and the demand for electronic information manufacturing products is in a downward cycle. From an international perspective, the complex external environment has not been fundamentally improved, and developed countries are still blocking and suppressing China's high-tech fields, which will affect China's electronic information manufacturing industry to climb towards the mid to high end value chain. In the process of product consumption, the terminal consumer market is still relatively sluggish, and consumers are more measured by comprehensive indicators such as cost-effectiveness, practicality, personalization, and happiness. In this regard, we should adhere to a problem oriented and goal oriented approach, exert efforts from multiple perspectives, implement policies prudently, and deeply explore new growth points in the industry. On the one hand, starting from continuously adapting to market demand, dynamically optimizing supply structure, and effectively promoting the transformation of old and new driving forces, new investment growth points should be identified. We will closely focus on the traditional electronic information industry, cultivate and introduce core enterprises and key projects in the mid to high end of the industry chain, apply new processes, equipment, and materials to transform and enhance traditional industries, promote the upgrading of advantageous industries to mid to high end, and form a new pattern of incremental and stock coordinated supply structure optimization. Focusing on the brand construction of electronic information manufacturing products, we aim to cultivate a group of nationally and even globally renowned related brands around emerging industries and traditional pillar industries. Increase support for corporate brand protection, guide and assist enterprises in combating counterfeiting and protecting their rights both inside and outside the domain, purify the market environment, form a strong atmosphere of respecting knowledge, valuing the brand, and maintaining the brand throughout society, and motivate enterprises to enhance brand competitiveness and influence. On the other hand, improving fiscal and financial services, supporting innovation in electronic information manufacturing enterprises, and effectively leveraging consumption. Subsidies will be given to major national, provincial, and municipal science and technology projects led by enterprises at a certain proportion of their self raised funds.
