Zhang Guoxiao, Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the 19th World Comics Congress, stated in an interview with reporters from China News Agency that the conference invited leading figures from industry organizations such as the China Animation Society, the Japan Cartoonist Association, the Japan Animation Association, the Korea Cartoonist Association, the Korea Cartoon Image Revitalization Institute, the Singapore Comics Association, and the Hong Kong Cartoon and Animation Federation to attend. Among them, the Japanese anime art collection exhibition will showcase over 100 original manga works, animated films, and signed versions by famous manga artists such as Hayao Miyazaki and Haruki Woo, covering various classic anime works such as "Sky City", "Volleyball Boy", "Astro Boy with Iron Arm", and "Alarai". In addition, the Belgian Agency for International Relations in Walloon Brussels will hold the Belgian Contemporary Comics Exhibition in Anyang. Belgium is known as the "Kingdom of Comics" and once gave birth to world-renowned comic characters such as Tintin and Smurfs. Its capital, Brussels, is a city that lives in comics and is known as the "Capital of European Comics". Comic characters can be seen everywhere on the streets of Brussels.
