Guangdong's town economy has once again emerged from the market with strong momentum. The "2023 National Thousand Strong Towns Development Report" was recently released, and a total of 112 towns in Guangdong were selected as the 2023 National Thousand Strong Towns, ranking third in the country. Yushan Town ranks first among the top 1000 towns in China and is the only town in the country with a GDP exceeding 100 billion yuan and a general public budget revenue exceeding 10 billion yuan. The strength of Yushan Town relies on the strong support of the industrial economy. The Kunshan High tech Zone where the town is located is the first national high-tech industry development zone located in a county-level city in China, with 1037 high-tech enterprises, 1212 technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, and a total of over 10 listed enterprises. In 2022, the electronic information and high-end equipment industries in Yushan Town achieved output values of 79.5 billion yuan and 52.74 billion yuan, respectively, ranking first in the city. Maotai Town is the first town in central and western China whose GDP has exceeded 100 billion yuan. Kweichow Moutai, a famous enterprise, is located here, known as "the first wine town in China".
