Li Jiachao mentioned that the SAR government allocates funds through the Elite Athletes Development Fund to the Hong Kong Institute of Sports every year to train about 1300 local elite athletes, with a total allocation of over HKD 860 million this year; The construction of the new building for the sports academy is also accelerating, aiming to be completed by the middle of next year, providing world-class training and support facilities for athletes.
