Recently, the Guangdong Macao Cooperation Joint Conference was held in Macau. During the meeting, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration and the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region jointly signed the "Guangdong Macao Intellectual Property Cooperation Agreement (2023-2025)", marking a higher level of intellectual property cooperation in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. The agreement signed this time covers all aspects of intellectual property work between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. It will strengthen cooperation in the promotion and application of intellectual property in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, carry out cooperation in intellectual property protection between Guangdong and Macao, deepen intellectual property exchange and cooperation between Guangdong and Macao, strengthen the sharing of intellectual property resources between Guangdong and Macao, and promote intellectual property promotion and education between Guangdong and Macao. After the signing of the agreement, the intellectual property management departments of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government will further strengthen exchanges, enhance cooperation levels, expand cooperation areas, promote the in-depth development of Guangdong Macao intellectual property cooperation, use intellectual property to promote innovation, and better empower the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area with innovative achievements. The Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Intellectual Property Big Data Comprehensive Service Platform has been launched, Integrating 10 types of intellectual property big data service resources, providing them for free use by the public and innovation and entrepreneurship entities, promoting the free flow of talents in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and guiding the cultivation, layout, transformation, and implementation of high-value patents in the Greater Bay Area.
