I love my country! The second round of the Hong Kong Intercollegiate Composition and Mandarin Recitation Competition is held in Hong Kong

On September 24th, the "I Love My Motherland" (Scenic Spots) Golden Bauhinia Cup Hong Kong Intercollegiate Composition and Mandarin Recitation Competition, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce and the Hong Kong Dagong Wen Hui Media Group, Art Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, was held in the Art Hong Kong Space. The competition aims to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 26th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, while improving the writing and Mandarin expression and recitation skills of young people in Hong Kong, enhancing their patriotism and enthusiasm for working together to build the Chinese Dream. At the second round of the competition, it is understood that the contestants will be excluded from the primary and secondary school groups, with 1 special prize, 4 first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 18 third prizes. Among them, there are a total of 10 special and first prizes in this competition, and the final will be held at the Palace Museum of Culture in Hong Kong on October 7th, followed by an award ceremony. The contestants in the middle school group are reciting their works. The contestants in the primary school group are serving as the judges for the second round of this competition, including Xie Chengguo, Secretary General of the Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Shen Motong, Chairman of the Cross Strait Peace and Development Federation, Gu Yaokun, Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Journalists Federation, Wang Junzheng, President of Outlook New Era Magazine, and Lin Xiaoping, former Teaching and Research Advisor of the Chinese Center at the School of Education of the University of Hong Kong, Art Hong Kong Chief Planner Liu Weizhong et al. Xie Chengguo, a member of the judging committee and Secretary General of the Hong Kong Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce, stated at the semifinals that promoting culture, serving society, and promoting education are one of the purposes of the Hong Kong Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce. Hosting this competition has profound significance in improving the writing and Mandarin expression and recitation skills of young people, and enhancing patriotism awareness. The Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce has held the "I Love My Motherland" Hong Kong Intercollegiate Composition and Mandarin Recitation Competition for two consecutive years, and it will continue to be held in the future. Xie Chengguo, a member of the competition evaluation committee and Secretary General of the Hong Kong Chaozhou Chamber of Commerce, also received support from the Civil Affairs and Youth Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Propaganda and Culture Department of the Central Liaison Office in Hong Kong, the Youth Work Department of the Central Liaison Office in Hong Kong, and multiple media organizations for this competition. As co organizers, the Greater Bay Area Airlines, Oriental Culture Magazine, Hong Kong Island Principals Association, Kowloon Regional Principals Association, New Territories Principals Association, Hong Kong School Councils Association, Hong Kong Direct Subsidized Schools Council, Hong Kong Subsidized Primary School Principals Association, and other organizations also provided necessary support for this competition.
