The reporter learned from China Railway Construction that recently, China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau and Taizhou Research Institute of Zhejiang University have successfully developed an intelligent professional operation robot for high-speed railway signal system room cable welding. It replaces manual work such as autonomous movement, automatic cable calibration, automatic welding line, and welding point quality evaluation, achieving the intelligence of welding operations. This equipment has been tested in projects such as the Shanghai Nanjing Yangtze River High Speed Railway and the New Fuzhou Xiamen High Speed Railway, further promoting the improvement of China's high-speed intelligent construction system. The signal system is the central nervous system for controlling the operation of high-speed railway trains, playing a crucial role in ensuring railway speed, efficiency, and safety. For a long time, the laying, wiring, and soldering processes of cables in the signal system room still rely heavily on manual labor, with high labor loads and susceptibility to interference from external environment, experience, and the status of operators, greatly limiting construction efficiency and process level. It is reported that the R&D team fully integrated image information, laser ranging information, specific fixtures and other methods during the research process, and carried out a series of innovative designs for flexible multi cable operation welding robots in the signal room. They proposed a pyramid like multi-layer information transmission positioning algorithm. This method solves the operation problem of cable wiring welding in complex environments of signal room through the collaborative cooperation of robot arms. Compared with traditional operation methods, the application of this equipment technology in signal room construction can significantly reduce manual participation in wiring construction, improve labor intensity of workers, and improve the process quality of signal engineering.
