Xie Feng pointed out that both China and the United States are countries where multiple ethnic groups coexist and cultures are integrated, and both live with hardworking, intelligent, brave, confident, and self strengthening people. US President Biden, Washington D.C. Mayor Bowser, and others sent congratulatory letters for the Cultural Festival. On the same day, the opening ceremony was attended by local dignitaries such as the Secretary of State of Washington, D.C., Bartlett, and the Director of the Asia Pacific Affairs Office in Washington, D.C., DeGuzman.
