According to the "Construction Standards for Improving the Service Capacity of Traditional Chinese Medicine Centers in Community Health Service Centers and Township Health Centers", traditional Chinese medicine centers (including ethnic minority medical centers) are independently established, with a usage area of no less than 300 square meters, capable of providing traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces and 6 categories of 10 or more suitable technical services for traditional Chinese medicine; There are no less than 300 types of traditional Chinese medicine slices in the traditional Chinese medicine room; The proportion of traditional Chinese medicine physicians in the total number of physicians in this institution shall not be less than 25%, and the main practicing institution shall have no less than 5 traditional Chinese medicine physicians in this institution. According to the "Construction Standards for Traditional Chinese Medicine Pavilion in Community Health Service Stations and Village Health Rooms", the Traditional Chinese Medicine Pavilion should have at least one Traditional Chinese Medicine consultation room and one Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment room, capable of providing traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces and 4 categories and 6 or more suitable technical services for traditional Chinese medicine; There shall be no less than 80 types of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, or agreements for dispensing, decocting, and distribution of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces shall be signed with community health service centers, township health centers, etc; The community health service station should be equipped with at least one doctor in the category of traditional Chinese medicine, and the village clinic should be equipped with at least one doctor in the category of traditional Chinese medicine or rural doctors who mainly provide traditional Chinese medicine services. Traditional Chinese Medicine Hall refers to a comprehensive service area for traditional Chinese medicine that centralizes and relatively independently sets up clinical departments of traditional Chinese medicine in community health service centers and township health centers. Traditional Chinese Medicine Pavilion refers to the diagnosis and treatment area where community health service stations and village clinics provide traditional Chinese medicine services, with personnel, facilities, equipment, and other health resources that can provide traditional Chinese medicine services. The "14th Five Year Plan for the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine" proposes to encourage areas with conditions to complete the construction of 15% of community health service centers and traditional Chinese medicine clinics in township health centers; Carry out the construction of traditional Chinese medicine pavilions in 10% of community health service stations and village clinics. According to data from the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as of the end of 2022, more than 40000 traditional Chinese medicine clinics have been established in community health service centers and township health centers in China.
