This is because the above practices can easily cause joints to be attacked by evil spirits, "Chen Yansong said. It is understood that elderly and frail women, middle-aged women, postpartum women, and those who prefer a high purine diet are prone to developing rheumatism. The first three are due to susceptibility to external wind, cold, dampness, and other invasions, while the group of people who prefer high purine drinking is due to their preference for fatty, sweet, and greasy foods, which can easily lead to gout. Chen Yansong said that in summer, to prevent the onset of rheumatic diseases, do not blow cold air and keep sweating slightly. "At home, you can open a window to keep the indoor air flowing properly, instead of blowing convection wind. When the disease does not break out, patients with rheumatism can strengthen their body resistance by practicing Taijiquan, Baduanjin qigong, etc. in the morning or evening when it is cool, and can also strengthen their yang by moxibustion on Dazhui and Zusanli."
