On July 18th, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office, met with US President John Kerry's special envoy on climate issues in Beijing. Wang Yi stated that the world needs stable Sino US relations. Both sides should effectively implement and jointly eliminate interference, so as to return China US relations to a healthy development track. China is willing to strengthen dialogue and communication with the United States, explore mutually beneficial cooperation, and jointly address climate change.
