The opening ceremony of the 7th Tianjin Study Exchange Program for Macao University Students was held at the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies on the 6th. 27 students from 5 universities and colleges in Macau will depart for Tianjin on the 8th for a 15 day study exchange. Under the initiative and promotion of Edmund Ho, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the first activity of Macao college students' learning and exchange program in Tianjin was held in 2015. Through field study, Macao college students will have a deep understanding of the country's Late modern period and development strategies, and promote cooperation between Macao and Tianjin. Huang Zhujun, president of the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, said that the event enabled groups of Macao students to personally understand the history and latest development of the country, enhance their appreciation of Chinese culture and understanding of national achievements, enhance the sense of belonging of the young generation of Macao to the country, and create a different vision and pattern.
