This is the second consecutive year that the city has issued relevant implementation plans. The construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area is a major national strategy. The recently released "Several Opinions of the Communist Party of China Guangdong Provincial Committee and Guangdong Provincial People's Government on the High Quality Development of Guangdong in the New Era" emphasizes the need to deepen the construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and create an important driving force for high-quality development. The Zhuhai Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has strengthened political supervision. Under the leadership of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision and the Municipal Party Committee, based on Zhuhai's new positioning and mission in the construction of the Greater Bay Area, we have identified entry points and focus points, deployed and carried out "1+N" (1 main line+N key points) political supervision, and assisted in doing a good job in the construction of the Greater Bay Area through "small incision" supervision. In the first quarter of this year, the GDP of Zhuhai region increased by 4.1% year-on-year, achieving a "good start". Adhering to the principle of "manufacturing as the leader" and strengthening the real economy is the top priority in promoting the construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. The Zhuhai Municipal Party Committee regards "industry first" as an important lever to implement the provincial Party Committee's decision and deployment of "manufacturing as the leader" and promote the construction of the Greater Bay Area. The Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision promptly followed up, and through the "office group land" linkage method, selected business backbone to form a work team, focusing on carrying out special supervision on investment attraction, the construction and operation of 5.0 industrial new space, and the landing of major industrial projects. The work team comprehensively collected feedback issues and suggestions from enterprises through on-site visits to key projects for new recruitment, holding enterprise symposiums, and distributing survey questionnaires. They identified 61 issues such as weak practicality of preferential policies for enterprises and slow progress of "mature land" consolidation work. They also transferred responsibility units to focus on rectification within a specified period of time, promoting the resolution of a number of urgent and difficult problems faced by enterprises. Once the development issues are resolved, investment has become even more powerful. In the first quarter of this year, industrial investment in Zhuhai increased by 67.1%, while investment in the manufacturing industry increased by 83.2%.
