The activity of "Hong Kong and Macao youth looking at the motherland" (Shanghai railway station) was launched on the 8th at the Shanghai center Building, which has the reputation of "the top of Shanghai". More than 100 Hong Kong and Macao youth formed a delegation to start a four-day scientific innovation investigation tour in the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Demonstration Zone. The event was jointly organized by the Shanghai Youth Federation, the Shanghai Hong Kong Youth Association, the Youth Committee of the Hong Kong Zhejiang Provincial Association, and the Hong Kong Jiangsu Youth Federation. The young people from Hong Kong and Macao who participated include those born in the 20th, 30th, and 40s, including job seekers who have just graduated from universities and young entrepreneurs who have already started businesses. The "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Looking at the Motherland" activity focuses on "communication, exchange, and integration", and enhances the understanding of Hong Kong and Macao youth on the economic and social development of the mainland through experiences such as seeing, listening, learning, and traveling. Starting from May 9th, the inspection team will visit Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, including observing science and innovation themed exhibitions, visiting local research institutes, parks, enterprises, etc., with a focus on the field of scientific and technological innovation. The Executive Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Youth Federation, He Difu, who participated in the event, said that this is a rare opportunity for more young people from Hong Kong and Macao to understand the mainland, especially the new development trends in the Yangtze River Delta region, such as the new forms of the internet, and everyone can jointly seize new opportunities for future technological innovation. In order to better help young people from Hong Kong and Macao quickly deepen their understanding of Shanghai, the Shanghai Youth Federation has also launched the "Hope Shanghai" Youth Travel Manual, which covers urban experience, happy life, cutting-edge industries, etc., providing "menu style" information consultation services for future Hong Kong and Macao youth groups visiting Shanghai.
