The Hong Kong Monetary Authority held its first data summit on the 4th, attracting over 260 representatives from over 60 banks, data analysis service providers, and data providers to participate. The Vice President of the Monetary Authority, Li Dazhi, stated that the Authority is committed to promoting convenience measures and forward-looking measures to promote the development of Hong Kong's digital economy. This summit can provide a discussion space for participants to explore issues related to data and digitization, thereby stimulating creativity, encouraging all parties to unleash the potential of data, and developing more innovative financial products and services. The summit mainly covers three main themes: simplifying banking business processes through digitization, enhancing data analysis capabilities through alternative data, and developing innovative products and services.
