According to the analysis of the epidemic characteristics of children with newly diagnosed tumors, the top three cancer types among children with newly diagnosed tumors in China are leukemia (32.89%), central nervous system tumors (15.18%), and lymphoma (9.71%). According to the Annual Report, among the age groups of newly diagnosed tumors in China, the highest proportion is in the 1-4 year old group, accounting for 30.59%, followed by the 5-9 year old group and the 10-14 year old group, accounting for 22.81% and 20.79%, respectively. The proportion of children under 1 year old is the lowest, accounting for 7.03%. According to the average incidence of children's tumors in China, the top three cancers in boys' incidence rate are leukemia, central nervous system tumors and lymphoma in turn; The top three cancers in girls' incidence rate were leukemia, central nervous system tumors, malignant epithelial tumors and melanoma. Compared with the 2020 version of the Annual Report, in terms of content analysis, the new version of the Annual Report added two statistical dimensions, namely, the epidemic characteristics of new tumor children within the monitoring range and the estimation results of incidence rate of children's tumors, on the basis of the original statistical dimensions of the hospitalized characteristics of tumor children, More comprehensive display of the hospitalization characteristics and epidemic distribution of pediatric tumors in China. According to reports, the new edition of the Annual Report includes registration data from 376 pediatric tumor monitoring points in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps from 2019 to 2020. The monitoring targets are discharged children with tumors between the ages of 0 and 19, and the range of diseases included in the analysis includes primary childhood malignant tumors, benign tumors of the central nervous system and reproductive system, and dynamic or unknown tumors.
